DRY ICE 6th
A dry ice activity was used to start making observations using time intervals and several physical changes to the ice. Students practiced writing explanations of results observed.
6th grade
Students practice the application of the scientific method in writing up their results in growing a sphere in water for 24 hours.
PENNY DROP 6TH
Students used coins to make predictions leading to writing a hypothesis on how many drops of water a coin could hold. Students analyzed their results by answering questions.
