• Tech/Sound booth run by students - Videos, microphones, sound are all run for assemblies by students.  8th grade students train 6th grade students who take over the responsibilities when they move on to High School

• Hands-on focus in all classrooms - because it is PBL - group projects with hands-on focus are at the center of all projects.  Examples:
• Math - Collaboration and Design of concept based posters and manipulatives

• LA - creating visuals that go along with their writing assignments
• Science - Student groups create different types of circuits depending on their understanding of how circuits work.
• SS - guest speakers to connect studies with countries and cultures
