- 1:1 devices - tech and student-driven education - ALL students are issued a Chromebook to use at school and take home for assignments
- Tech/Sound booth run by students - Videos, microphones, sound are all run for assemblies by students. 8th grade students train 6th grade students who take over the responsibilities when they move on to High School

- Hands-on focus in all classrooms - because it is PBL - group projects with hands-on focus are at the center of all projects. Examples:

- LA - creating visuals that go along with their writing assignments
- Science - Student groups create different types of circuits depending on their understanding of how circuits work.
- SS - guest speakers to connect studies with countries and cultures
