Please see instructions below regarding beginning band and the 2023-2024 school year. No music experience needed (or expected). All 5th grade students are welcome! GO CUBS!!

We highly recommend students attend the FREE ONE DAY Beginning Band Camp at BLMS where they explore and try out different instruments, learn how to properly assemble instruments, learn posture, hold them, and learn their first few notes. Band Camp will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at BLMS Band Hall from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Students are welcome to ride a bus after school to BLMS if it is part of the regular bus route. Students must be picked up by 6:00 pm. from the Middle School.

Step 1

If your child is wanting to enroll in beginning band, or is interested in beginning band for the 2023-2024 school year, please complete the Beginning Band Camp Registration Linked Here. This form needs to be completed for all beginning band students and can be completed in advance.

Step 2

Attend the Beginning Band Camp on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 4:00 PM in the Bear Lake Middle School Band Hall .

Step 3 (optional)

Click here to make a donation to the BLMS Band/Music program. Cash and check donations can be made to BLMS. This is used to purchase Band Camp shirts, cover instrument repairs, and assist students that need to cover their instrument protection plans throughout the year.
